Serendipitous is an event planning and design studio based in Houston that focuses primarily on full-service wedding planning and design. Abby, owner of the studio, was actually one of my first clients years ago when she needed an ad design. Now, with some changes in her business structure, Abby wanted to rebrand from Serendipitous Event Planning and Design to simply Serendipitous. She needed a new look and style to attract her dream clientele and portray her boutique, exclusive approach since she takes on a limited number of weddings each year.
To start, I created a moodboard to achieve Abby's wishes of "fun, colorful, and luxurious." The color palette featured Abby's favorites - greens and navy - and was softened with a simple white and spruced up with an opulent gold metallic. From there, we designed some chic business cards that stayed in line with the upscale vibe of the brand. Finally, I created a full-width website that featured custom gold touches throughout for that hint of luxury. Calligraphy was also incorporated to conquer Abby's request of "fun," while vivid imagery was implemented to effortlessly convince brides that Serendipitous is their perfect match.
